Mary Anne Parker’s Biography

Hello! I joined the Hirsch Family in 2018 as a first grade teacher, but my love of reading led to my current position as Reading Specialist/Interventionist.

The majority of my teaching experience and learning has been working with K-2 students. I now put those skills to work in grades 3-6, filling in the gaps and encouraging students to think about reading in positive ways. It is a privilege to share this journey with my students here at Hirsch!

When I’m not working, you can find me somewhere outdoors, hiking or kayaking with my husband. I also enjoy yoga, swimming, and reading. 🙂
